Random Quote of the Day #1

Jul. 9th, 2009 | 02:00 pm

"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear—fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, fear of getting down-sized or fired because of the plunging economy, fear of getting evicted for bad debts or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer."
Hunter S. Thompson -
—"Extreme Behavior in Aspen," February 3, 2003

Everything you wanted to know about - George Washington!

Jul. 9th, 2009 | 01:12 pm

The first in my series of essay's/rants/whatever about Presidents. No matter what they are, Liberal, Democrat or Republican, I am going to put up a little blurb about each of our presidents! so, enjoy!

Everything you wanted to know about - GEORGE WASHINGTON

Born - Febuary 22, 1732
Died - December 14, 1799

Notable feats in his life -

1 - Was the Commander of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.

2 - Served as the first elected President of the United States of America.

3-  Was awarded the with the very first Congressional Gold Medal with the thanks of Congress.

Career -

George Washinton didn't get interested in a military career until the age of twenty when he was introduced to the Ohio Company by his half brother. He was made a major and 'supposedly' joing the Free Mason's.

During the Seven Years War -

Made a Commisions Lieutenant by Dinnwiddie, George Washinton was charged with the defeat of For Duquesne. He defeated a French scounting party of 30 men, and then tried to take on Fort Neccesity, however, Fort Neccesity had a bigger French/Indian force and George Washington was made to surrender, he signed his name to the contract of surrender and he returned home where he was cleared of all blame for the surrender, however, he later resigned from his post because he did not like how the Virginia Militia was organized. Later Washington was an aid to British General Edward Braddock while on an expedition of Monongahela. While his roll during this battle is a conundrum even to the best historians, it is said that Washington rode back and forth calling for the retreat of the Braddock men. This got him a post of the Virginia Mountains and was named Colonel.

1758 - Washington was a Brigadier General during the Forbes expedition. This supported the evacuation of Fort Duquesne and the establishment of British military in Pittsburg. After, Washington retired once again and spent the next sixteen years as a Planter and Politician.

The American Revolutionary War -

Made Commander in Cheif on June 15, 1775 - Washington was ready for war.

He forced the British out of Boston, lost New York City and crossed the Deleware River. The next year he captured Saratoga and Yorktown, two main British compounds. With strong negotiation he was able to hold together a war torn country while under the threats of failure. After the end of the Revolutionary War, Washington retied, again, and then the real work began.

The Philedelphia Convention drafted the Constituion of the United States in 1787. Washington was voted President of the United States in 1789 and established many customs that America would emulate years later. He built a strong central government, supported a National Bank, and the National Debt and implemented an affective tax system as drafted in the Constitution. The Jay Treaty kept peace with Britian in 1795. It was ratified even if Jefferson was a great challenge to it.

Washington was not a Federalist, even though he supported many of the party's views. His farewell adress warned against partisanship, sectuonalism, and the involevement in foreighn wars. His speach is the Republican view at its historical best.

Quotes about Washington

First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen - Henry Lee at Washington's Funeral.

If he does that, he'll be the greatest man in the world - King George the Third about Washinton following his retiring after the Revolutionary War.

Quotes from George Washinton himself -

Our cause is noble; it is the cause of mankind.

It is better to offer no excuse than a bad one.

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; They are the people's Liberty Teeth!

What is The Impeach Obama Project?

Jul. 9th, 2009 | 12:56 pm

This project is simply my belief that Obama is a Criminal in view of the Constituion of the United States of America.

He has put the American people in danger by giving this view to the world that we are the ones who are held responcible for the Iraq war, when in fact it was the terrorists who started it when they highjacked those air planes and smashed them into the Twin Towers, concequently killing thousands of innocent people.

I think that Bush did what he could do. If he had done nothing we would have called for something to be done. He waged war to protect us and now all Obama does is give of the fibe that it was our fault? fuck that. I did not vote for Obama and I knew this would happen. That is why I push for his Impeachment!

This blog will show my journy as I explore ways in which to do this and to build a readership and a group of people who believe in the same.
